Director of Acquisitions

James “J.R.” Thomas has over 20 years of experience in the finance sector of the automotive and mortgage industries in the Houston area. His extensive knowledge in communications and sales has helped him lead teams of 70-plus employees to achieve business and financial objectives. When J.R. is not out looking for properties to purchase, you can find him restoring classic cars and playing with his twin toddlers.

Acquisitions Specialist

Brett Jordan has 10 years of experience in varying facets of the automotive industry, working for both global and locally based companies. He has led sales teams and developed lasting customer relationships. Brett enjoys spending time with his wife, working on anything with a motor and traveling.

                To further our efforts to provide the best products and customer service in the real estate investment lending game, we have also added a new Senior Hard Money Loan Officer and Jr. Operations Coordinator!  They are ready to help with all your hard money needs and questions.

Senior Loan Officer

Jesse Valdez has over 12 years of marketing and sales experience, having held various management level positions as Finance Director, Finance Manager and Sales Manager for companies in the Houston area. He holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in marketing from the University of Houston and is fluent and able to conduct business in Spanish. Born and raised in Houston, Jesse enjoys visiting city parks, attractions and local sporting events with his wife and three children.

Junior Loan Processor 

Austin Pool has managerial experience in the automotive purchase and rental industries and has interned with a national insurance company. He is currently a full-time student at the University of Houston while being part of the Catalyst team. In his spare time, Austin likes traveling extensively and meeting new people.
